April Showers? You'll need soap!

Hello hello!

Gloomy skies, blustery rainstorms, a clap of thunder and then blam, a patch of blue sky shows up - suddenly it's a sunny afternoon. April is a joy ride of every kind of weather, careening down the path of spring, spring SPRING! Flowers are blooming everywhere, the trees are bursting into bright green leaves, and the sheer beauty of it all makes the heaviness of the world just a little lighter. Getting my hands in the dirt, planting tiny little green things that will soon be full of blossoms, herbs and juicy tomatoes makes my heart sing. What are you doing to keep yourself balanced and happy? Please do more of that.

STUDIO NEWS BITS

Catch the spring seasonals before they melt away! Pink Peony, Spring Rain, and Tahitian Petals are all in stock waiting to add a little flower power to your April showers. Fresh and pretty, they are on the menu for just another month, fading away as we splash into summer. If one of these tickled your fancy, grab a couple of extra ones now.

There are only a handful of Sample Sale soaps left also. If you like a deal, now's the time to stock up on discount priced suds. It was so great to hear your comments on them, and a few look like they might show up in future seasonal menus. You all know that I make these soaps just for you and I love to hear your thoughts and ideas. It's way more fun as a partnership than just the crazy ideas pinging around in my own head all the time.

You may have noticed the Healing Salve was out of stock this past month. It's back just in time for gardening season. A sublime moisturizer, it's infused with some of the most potent herbs to heal, protect and repair skin from head to toe. The Pumice soap is a nice pairing with that - a deliciously fresh and herby exfoliating soap that scrubs like a workhorse but leaves your hands satiny soft.

The first of May is when I announce my summer soap menu. Yes, there will be some Beach House, as requested again (and again). But I've got some brand spanking new scents too that I'm excited about. Hold onto your hats. It's right around the corner.

We are all swimming in rough seas and the waves keep on coming. Take breaks from everything and rest more than you think you need to. Make time to do a little something that feels good every day. Also, look for the good news. It's out there too. Giving it equal focus and attention helps support the people working so hard to make this a better place to live.

With so much gratitude to be in this ship with all of you . . .
