Happy New Year!

Hello clean, shiny, bright people!

We're finally tossing out 2020 - the year that nobody expected . . . or wanted.

I know we’re all excited to close the book on this year. Good riddance! Yet the challenges, struggles, and upending of so many of our daily routines, beliefs, institutions and norms was not allrubbish. Pain and hardship is the place where we grow, learn, innovate and create. We learned a lot about ourselves, and learned quickly who and what was most important.

At the threshold of a new year, things look very different than last January. We're tough cookies and creative geniuses with hope and brilliant ideas galore. What do you want to dream up for 2021?

WINTER BLOWOUT SALE MOVED TO FEBRUARY

I'm sure you all checked in with fingers itching to hit the annual clearance sale I have every January, but you know what? I sold out of almost everything in that final week before Christmas and there is surprisingly little on the shelves. And as I was just saying, hardship and making-do are the best inspirations for innovation? Well I just had the brainstorm to move the sale to next month. That way I can spend this whole month napping - ha!. No, actually I can spend this whole month crazy busily making more soap. All the regular scents are on the the curing racks but a week or two away from being ready to sell. It made no sense to have a sale when you can't buy nothin'.

Here's what I'm going to do instead: I'll make a bunch of fresh batches now, clearing out some of my old fragrances and seasonal scents from all year, and then have a really BIG blowout sale next month. February is the announcement of my new spring scents, plus I'll have everything stocked up again. AND I'll have some new fresh soaps and experiment batches that will be at the discount prices I usually do. That way you guys can try the new spring scents, stock up on the regular scents, AND go bananas on a bunch of extra goodies instead of just shopping a few scrappy morsels. I'd rather make it more worthwhile for you to shop (and makes more sense for me too). Win-Win! Which should be the motto for everything this year. Or all of life actually.

DON’T PANIC - YOU CAN STILL SHOP!

People still need soap in January! Especially if they are doing a lot of slate cleaning and clearing the decks. Or sweating more in their sweatpants, resolving to get fit and burn off the holiday treats.

I have made all the soaps that might currently look sold out. They are returning within a week, two tops. At least half of the regulars are still in stock and ready to go. No fretting, no panicking - we've got you covered. And we'll be back to full steam in no time.

Wishing you a more peaceful, brighter year ahead. There is hope on the horizon and everyone just rarin' to get busy making it happen. Bon voyage!
