Spring Cleaning

Hello Friends,

Spring is beginning to spring up. It doesn’t come all at once, but rather long, slow entrances and sudden grand spurts. There is the gentle, gradual warming and then the one balmy day where you can throw open all the windows with giddy excitement.

What I love most about this season is the inspiration it  brings for new perspectives, new ideas and the urge to purge. No other season does that. Flipping the calendar to a new year starts a yearning to do everything differently, to look at all areas of my life and renew my bucket lists.

Fresh air blows cobwebs out of the dusty corners of my brain while tiny green sprouts and flowers motivate me with popping new ideas. I take down the holiday decorations and want to clean out my garage and storage. I look at my tatty house sweater and want to purge closets. Everything clean, shiny and new!  “Spring cleaning” may not be for everyone but it’s a beloved part of this time of year for me.

NEW - SPRING 2024 SEASONAL SOAPS

Spring fragrances are naturally light and fresh. Frolicking in the new grass, dancing playfully in the blooming garden, this season’s calling card is clean and pure, soft, sweet and pretty. These new scents are limited in production and available February thru April. ($ 6.00 each)

PETAL + BLOSSOM – The intoxicating scent of freshly blooming flowers is the very essence of spring. This beautiful pink bar is a soft, modern floral scent studded with lovely peony and orchid blossoms, Egyptian jasmine, and elegant tuberose. It’s oh so pretty, a shower of petals and blooms.

SPRING RAIN - Spring rains are light and fresh, cheerfully splashing among fragrant flower petals and new green leaves. I’ve tried to capture this scent in a blend of soft rain, misty fog, ocean mist, sea moss, and dewy green leaves. Creamy white in color, this is a light, fresh, water fragrance that feels happy, clean and bright.

SWEET DREAMS – This seasonal scent is a match to our aromatic spray of the same name. Serene, calming lavender with gentle chamomile flowers relax the mind and soul. Traditionally used in aromatherapy, this ethereal, exquisite blend helps you to drift blissfully to sleep. It’s a peaceful start to your day in the morning shower, or a soothing way to end your day in a warm bath.

WILDFLOWER + FERN – A fresh, leafy green mix of cucumber, grass, bamboo, honey, oak moss and fern fronds is blended with earthy florals of geranium and dandelion. Verdant and lush, this sage colored bar smells like a field of greens and grasses. As a houseplant junkie, this fragrance is near and dear - a magnificent greenhouse jungle of overgrown leafy friends that is lively, energizing and incredibly appealing.

WISHIN’ AND SOAPIN’ AND THINKIN’ AND PRAYIN’ . . . THAT YOU’D BE MY VALENTINE

If you’ve got a special someone on your mind for Valentine’s Day . . . or any other spring occasion, like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthdays, or just making it through the week – we’ve got a gift to make the celebration perfect. Who doesn’t love a little something that smells good, feels good, and they can use every day? Charming little sets with bars of soap paired with dishes, brushes or scrubby mitts. We also have larger combinations of treats in totes with a little bit of everything. Frilly, fresh, flowery spring scented sprays of Jasmine Lemon or Lilac Garden are the perfect antidote to an end of winter slump ($7 each).

Or why not show them you love them over and over, all year long. Gift them a Sudscription, our soap of the month club. They will receive 2 bars of fresh and seasonal soap at the beginning of every month – 3 months, 6 months, or a full year. It’s an everyday reminder that you want to pamper them, care for them, keep them healthy, safe, soft and lovely.
