What is a Swedish Dishcloth?

Incredibly absorbent, these handy little sponge-y squares will replace your paper towels, sponges, rags, and scrubbers. They are the perfect household cleaning cloth that you can reuse over and over. Made of 70% cellulose and 30% cotton, they are durable and strong - tough enough to scrub with cleanser. They can be used with just water or any household cleaner. They also absorb 20X their weight in liquid, so they are perfect for blotting up spills in a jiffy.

The best part? They can be tossed in your laundry washer or the top rack of your dishwasher to be cleaned between uses. They air dry in no time, so they don’t breed bacteria or smell bad. Just hang over the faucet, edge of your sink, or lay flat. And for quick disinfecting, which we’re all doing right now, pop them in the microwave for 1 minute, slightly dampened.

Far more hygienic than a sponge, they can be used for any surface. Cleans countertops, granite, stainless steel, sinks, tubs, floors, any surface, even dishes and glass - literally streak free!

The stats say 3,000 tons of paper towels end up in our landfills every day. And that one Swedish dishcloth replaces 17 rolls of paper towels. They last for months on end, even a year or longer, depending on how much of a workout you give them. I actually haven’t ever thrown one out, even after they get a little shrunken and lumpy - they are so cute!

Made with 100% natural materials and printed with water based inks, these artist-designed charming Swedish patterns add a decorative flair to your kitchen and home. You can even compost them! Once you’ve tried these handy little cleaning cloths, you won’t go back to anything else.

And why not share with a friend? Reducing paper waste at the same time that you’re cleaning better and quicker? Who doesn’t want more of that?
