PLEASE NOTE - discounts, sales tax and shipping charges do not get automatically calculated into the shopping cart on this site. All of these are calculated during the processing of your order, and the exact charges are detailed in the final invoice which will arrive with your order.  If you have questions or need to know totals before the order is processed, please contact me.   The credit card transaction does not occur at the time of your online order, it is calculated when the order is processed here at the studio, and charged at the time your order is shipped to you.

Discounts

There is a discount price of 4 bars for $16.00. It works for all scents of the soap, in any combination. You do not have to order in multiples of 4 bars - you can choose as many as you like. The discount price (which becomes $4.00 per bar, rather than $4.25) is applied to each bar, with a minimum purchase of 4 bars.

Special offers, coupons or discounts are generally one-time special events, or have a time limit. When using one of these, you must type the coupon code or offer in the space provided at the time of your order. The special instruction box is located in the top right corner of each item page, right above the green arrow which you click to purchase that particular item. These are also calculated at the time of processing and will appear on your final invoice.

Shipping Rate Schedule

Shipping charges are added to your order according to the following rate chart, and are based on the merchandise total.

Orders totaling:

$15.00 or less = $5.00
$16.00 to $29.00 = $6.50
$30.00 to $49.00 = $8.00
$50.00 to $79.00 = $9.50
$80.00 to $99.00 =$10.00
$100.00 and up = 10 %

Sales Taxes

Customers living within the state of Washington are charged the sales tax rate to the location where your order will be delivered.  Seattle and close-by urban areas are 9.5%, but other municipalities vary - Tacoma is 9.3%, Bellingham is 8.3%, etc.  And if you live in Washington, but are having the goods shipped to a friend out of state, there is no tax applied to orders shipped outside of Washington.  Anyone living outside of Washington state is not charged sales taxes.

Sales tax is calculated on the merchandise plus shipping charge total.  Another (dumb) state law, Washington considers shipping charges to be a "service" and requires it to be included in the sales total.
